Man jailed for assault and burglary offence in Halifax

A man has been jailed for more than five years after he pleaded guilty to assault and two burglary charges which included an incident in Halifax.

Kevin Haley, of Cobden Street, Allerton, was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday (Thursday).

The charges related to two assaults outside a Bingley nightclub, both of which occurred in the early hours of October 2, 2016.

A female was also repeatedly punched in the face in a separate attack.

Haley, 28, also pleaded guilty to two burglaries which occurred in Bradford and Halifax in March this year.

He received a total of 63 months in prison.

“We hope this outcome will give them some closure and will deter others from getting involved in violence.”
